Episode 1 - Long Forgotten

Alma tapped the eggs against the side of the frying pan expertly and heard the familiar crack and sizzle as they broke open and met the hot grease at the bottom of the pan. Two eggs over-easy for her and Edward, his just slightly more runny than hers. The younger children preferred scrambled, but they would just have to make due with fried this morning. None for the older children, probably. Always a picky eater, Judith would probably prefer just toast or cereal over eggs of any kind. Jeremy, on the other hand, would eat just about anything, but he would probably end up taking his eggs cold, if she made any for him, as he rarely awoke early enough for breakfast with the family when it wasn't a school day.
